Unit design study for Space Tales

We are developing our first game at Saigon Dragon Studios! Being huge Real Time Strategy games enthusiasts, and having significant experience as an art studio on this genre, developing an RTS was the obvious choice for us. Space Tales is set in a retro futuristic universe in which the player colonized planet.
The Recruit is the backbone of the army as well as the usual cannon fodder. We took some inspiration from vintage cars for the top of the suit while keeping the rest fairly low tech - after all, their lifespan on the battlefield is short…
